Kay Kinder Hosts Ottawa Impact Hookup Event – Thursday, January 7th

Kay Kinder is the host of the Ottawa Impact Hookup Event on Thursday, January 7th.

Kay is an entrepreneur who has 30 years of experience as a sales and marketing professional. She started her career in 1979 after graduating college with a degree in Commercial Advertising.

In 1987 she discovered the world wide web and created her first ecommerce business. At that time there was very little information available about internet marketing so much of her education came from trial and error but she was determined to succeed.

By 1995 she was running and/or providing professional SEO & SEM services to many web based businesses and all of them were ranked in the top 10 of the major search engines under their specific keywords – in fact all of them have continually ranked in the top 10 for the last 12 years.

Kay continues to add to her skills and knowledge every year through ongoing education always eager to stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies.

Over her lifespan Kay Kinder has worn many hats in addition to her marketing background from mom, opera singer, public speaker, event organizer, author, consumer advocate to marriage counselor… each of these hats giving her a new perspective on the importance of effective communication and the psychology of what motivates people to do the things they do.

In the last 6 years Kay’s focus has been on joint ventures adding her strengths and values with others to create new businesses and opportunities to help more people.

Here’s what Kay had to say about their first Ottawa Impact Hookup Event …

We had a total of 9 participants (not bad considering I didn’t give enough notice in this government city) and it turned out to be a great evening.

Dave & I hooked up with Tom to create a new logo for our company & wrappers for our new service vans.

Dave & I also hooked up with Kevin who is going to be creating a new networking system for our companies so we can exchange information onne and work from anywhere in the world.

There were other connections made and lots of potential possibilities for joint ventures in the future (especially among the marketing people) - in fact for such a small group we sure did have a wealth of knowledge which was freely shared.

Everyone had such a good time that we have already set the wheels in motion for our next event - and everyone has already committed to going and bringing additional guests. I have a feeling this is going to grow in size quite quickly!

We will be hosting our monthly JV impact meetups the first Thursday of every month at the same place and time (our next meeting January 7th at 6:30pm at Summerhays Grill).

Thank you again Ken for taking the initiative to inspire people to create venues like this. It has already proven to be priceless!
